Observation

Earlier this week, the Keeperiums have come together to talk about identity drifting.

Following that exchange, the Keeperiums reconvened and identified that most clearly embodies the tension raised.

This week, that brand is Zara.

The Keeperiums have not convene to judge or correct, but to Taste!

Sprezza Vita: Zara has fully embraced its identity as fast fashion and has never hidden it. It is its law.

Sorbaciato: Zara knows its customers and has provided to their needs which is why to this day, the brand faces great financial success.

Sprezza Modo: At Zara, both sophistication and stigma around fast fashion coexist.

422 Intima: Every Zara collection is visually pleasing.

Inbaciato: Zara always remembers what it was which is why it is today.

Baciolato: Zara has built its identity around restraint and sophistication.

Intimaciato: Zara has proven time and time again that its models inhabit the clothes.

Sensaciato: Zara has taken risks, maybe when it shouldn't have, but risks nevertheless.

Discord

Taken together, the brand has survived because it knows itself. Most importantly, it knows its customers.

However, a question remains: Can a brand that has heavily curated its identity slowly try to drift away from it in the name of diversity and risk taking?
